Finance Clerk

We are innovative, fashionable and dynamic and we are seeking a Finance Clerk to join our our awesome team in Cape Town. This is an amazing opportunity to join one of SA’s fastest growing e-commerce companies.

We are looking for a Finance Clerk to help out with the following tasks:

Bank & Cash

  • Downloading bank transactions from FNB and sending to relevant people daily
  • Updating and reconciling our cash flow planner with the bank transactions daily
  • Sending EFT refund file to relevant person daily
  • Loading proof of EFT payments on Zendesk
  • Loading of staff expense claims on FNB
  • Managing and Reconciling Petty Cash
  • Processing Fusion payment on Sage and loading payments on the bank
  • Loading proof of payments on Fusion
  • Loading payments from cash flow planner to FNB after confirming balance with statement
  • Creating batch payment file for approval
  • Balance sheet reconciliations


  • Importing of files for all payment methods in to Sage Evolution (PEACH, EFT & RCS)
  • Importing of Sales invoices and Credit notes from Magento downloads


  • Importing wages file into Sage VIP once approved
  • Downloading of acb. file from VIP and importing to FNB
  • Downloading Sage VIP reports and printing of payslips
  • Capturing of labour broker invoices

Fixed Asset Register

  • Maintaining fixed asset register and calculation of depreciation
  • Posting depreciation journal

Honesty Bar

  • Managing honesty bar
  • Ordering and unpacking new stock
  • Monthly stock counts
  • Calculate salary deductions for honesty bar
  • Monthly honesty bar reconciliation


  • Scheduling and testing of marketing SMS
  • Loading SMS credits
  • Keeping track of Pilates contracts and deductions
  • Ordering of general office orders from PNP, Waltons, Nashua and Takealot
  • Assisting with month end reporting when needed
  • Performing various finance related tasks that may be required by the HOF
  • Capturing of Supplier invoices and finance reviews
  • Ad Hoc admin duties as required

Personal skills and attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer literate with experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel etc.)
  • Methodical and analytical
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Works well under pressure
  • Great at multitasking



  • Admin experience
  • Knowledge of an accounting package (e.g. Pastel) would be desirable
  • Qualification with accounting as a subject would be advantageous
